I've had a long career in customer services, working for some of the major names in the computer industry.

I started as a field service engineer with Olivetti in the late 70's and then moved on to Honeywell, this time servicing full computer systems. I then worked as a service manager with Honeywell in Central London before moving to Hewlett Packard in the late 80's. I held several managerial roles with HP - always in customer services in one form or another.

I set up Amersham Computers in 2008 after taking early retirement and the business has grown steadily every since.

My approach to customer service has always been to treat people in the way I expect to be treated myself; I think this is the key to building good working relationships and generating repeat business. I'm finding that a large number of my new clients come from recommendations these days which is a perfect situation to be in.
